I know your first two weeks in Uganda are far from what you thought they would be and you and your team have been heavy on many hearts. I also know that the enemy attacks that which he is threatened by,while our Warrior God relentlessly defends His kids. I often have to quiet my flesh and emotions and can only imagine what you all are having to battle on a moment by moment basis. We have seen so many signs of God's faithfulness while apart, from the prayers of your littlest brother to those of other family members and friends.
Isaiah began praying this past week for you to remember that His angels are all around you and with you and to not be afraid. He prayed last night for "Brittany's team, God, that they will know You are with them. God, You are faithful and satan is a failure. God, for the fections to leave, now. You are a holy God...and for Brittany's head, that it won't hurt." Maury was putting Jaden down for a nap and he kept pointing to his bed and saying, "Brittany, sleeping". She said that you were sleeping and Jaden said, "wake up, Brittany wake-up!" He has sensed the warfare around you. Vanessa's dad experienced much of what you are experiencing while in Indonesia years ago. He said that the Father will use this to empower you to minister to the people and increase His healing gift within you. You are identifying with the orphan in a deeper way and God will use that as you walk among them.
God has awakened many to pray for you and your team. Heather Land, the Whittingtons, Jennifer, the IHOP healing teams, and countless others. You are covered. Bill Johnson mentioned going to the places of "whatever it takes" and "not counting the cost". There will be a day, very soon, that this "cost" will be diminished by the outpouring of His Glory.
I am posting pictures from The Nutcracker and Isaiah's new trick of eating while his eyes are closed!
